What do Rand Paul and Elizabeth Warren have in common?

Dear Activist,

November 24 is the deadline for American negotiators to try to conclude a comprehensive agreement with Iran around its nuclear program, which will include a US commitment to suspend sanctions. The White House will probably rely on the President’s power to suspend US sanctions. We’ve got our fingers crossed that this will work, but some members of Congress are doing whatever they can to derail the diplomatic efforts.

Send a message to key 2016 Presidential hopefuls to get them on board for a diplomatic solution. We need Hillary Clinton, Sen. Rand Paul, Sen. Bernie Sanders, and Sen. Elizabeth Warren to all support the efforts by President Obama and Secretary Kerry for a peaceful solution. Clinton has hawkish views when it comes to Iran, but pressure from other prominent politicians could push her to take a more moderate stance. We also want whoever is our future American President to take a stand for diplomacy, not continued hostilities!

Support from prominent politicians will help thwart efforts by lobby groups like AIPAC, as well as hawks in Congress, to sabotage President Obama’s diplomatic efforts now and in the future. If this round of negotiations fails, it’s unlikely they will be renewed, and the possibility of war with Iran will rear its ugly head again. Join CODEPINK and our friends at Just Foreign Policy to urge key leaders and Presidential hopefuls to support President Obama’s diplomacy with Iran!
