Action Ideas
- Hand out
opt-out forms and other counter-recruitment information at
back-to-school nights, parent-teacher conferences, and other school
events where lots of parents will be present.
- Form a mothers' (or teachers' or health professionals;, etc.) resistance line in front of the recruiting center.
- Set up an “Alternatives to the Military” booth with information on
local alternatives to military service at school or general community events.
- Deliver a pink slip to military recruiters at the nearest recruiting
station. Let them know that they are fired from appearing on your campus or in your community.
- Host a "Movie Night" showing anti-war films such as "Body of War," "Stop Loss," or "War, Inc."
