 CODEPINK LA, along with Interfaith Communities United for Justice and Peace (ICUJP), Veterans for Peace, and Santa Monica College students hung banners over the crowded 405 freeway overpass in response to President Obama's use of drone warfare abroad and drone spying both abroad and at home. On the week marking the ten year anniversary of our government's tragic and senseless invasion and occupation of Iraq, the group of vocal activists also spoke with passersby and told them to join us as we tell our government "No!" to highly inaccurate, lethal and invasive drones and "Yes!" to diplomacy, accountability, transparency and bringing our war dollars home!
