Janet's report back: Nancy Mancias, Samantha Deer and I took the (slightly revised) CODEPINK messages of "Make Outs Not War" in banner form, and "Make Out Not War" in stickers to the excited crowd in front of AT&T Park before Game 2 of the World Series. Note: the banner is one of a series - see link below. We met up with "Panda", representing the fan favorite 3rd baseman Pablo Sandoval; had our photos taken many times; and greeted fans by the huge statues of Giants heroes Orlando Cepeda and Willie Mays. Nancy tweeted out photos while Sam passed out our popular pink stickers. I held up the MONW banner so it could get on the pre-game TV coverage (on Fox news). One man came up to me as I was holding up the banner to vehicular traffic, and said loudly, "Good for you!" Taking the pink to the people can be good clean fun -- and later, the Giants won!
