Private Bradley Manning,
a 23-year-old US Army intelligence analyst, stands
accused of leaking the largest amount of classified
information in American history to the whistleblower
website WikiLeaks.org.
Manning
has been charged with "aiding
the enemy," a capitol offense, for his
alleged crime of exposing
the truth about war crimes committed
in Iraq and Afghanistan and releasing State Department
cables that helped bring transparency
to governments and spark democratic
uprisings in the Middle East. For

proceedings visit bradleymanning.org
What You Can Do:
Plant
Seeds of Truth - Free Bradley Manning!
CODEPINK
Kansas has started a political art project for
all to take part in. As part of solidarity actions
that took place during Bradleys April 24-26
pre-trial hearings at Fort Meade, and in continuation
of the spirit of Earth Day, we are asking people
to plant some Sunflowers this spring.
If you would like to take part in this project,
please email us at priticodepink@gmail.com
with your mailing address and we will mail a packet
of Sunflower seeds to you. And of course if you
would rather skip the mailing step and just go
out and buy a packet of seeds on your own then
that's fine also.
Instructions
- Plant some Sunflower seeds.
- When the plants get a couple of inches tall,
take a photo.
- When they bloom, take another photo.
- Email both photos to priticodepink@gmail.com,
along with details of where you live.
- The finished project will coincide with Manning's
court martial. And sometime during his court
martial, some of us from Kansas plan to travel
with the project to Fort Meade to install it
there.

Tell
President Obama: Drop
the "aiding the enemy" charge against
Bradley Manning
Make
the Call for Bradley
Call the White House switch board between 9 am -
5 pm EST (6 am - 2 pm PST) at 202-456-1111. When
you call, demand that President Obama should work
to:
1. DROP the charge of "aiding
the enemy"
2. REFUSE to allow the trial
of Bradley Manning to be held secret, unchecked
by media and public oversight
3. START investigating the war
crimes that have been revealed by the WikiLeaks
documents. We have a right to a thorough investigation
of these matters.
Blowing the whistle on war crimes is NOT a crime!
